The Berkey®️ Systems come in a range of sizes and configurations and some websites don’t go into a lot of detail explaining the difference in one versus another. Let’s walk through it here:
The Berkey®️ product line ranges in size from the Go Berkey®️ all the way to the Crown Berkey®️. The only difference in these different systems is their size. All of them use the same Black Berkey®️ Purification Elements technology and all of them filter water the exact same way.
You’ll notice that the bigger the system, the more Black Berkey®️ Elements they can accommodate. This does not mean that the bigger systems get the water any cleaner – it just means they filter the water more quickly. By adding more Elements, they can work together to filter the water faster. And by using more Elements at once, they will last longer than they would if they were being used alone. But you can use two Elements in a Crown system – the largest Berkey®️ available – and it will work perfectly fine.
