This replacement kit includes everything you need to replace existing parts in your Berkey™ Light water system, or simply keep a spare kit on-hand.
The black washers and wingnuts are spare parts specifically for the Black Berkey™ Elements (filters).
The black rubber blocking plugs allow you to plug any extra openings that are not currently configured with filters.
The replacement spigot (Blue or Black) also comes with its own washers, threaded spigot body, and accompanying threaded nut.
Maintenance is easy with the included ScotchBrite® Pad, allowing you to lightly scrub the body of the Black Berkey™ Elements. Always be sure to prime the Black Berkeys™ after scrubbing it. Otherwise, flow-rate will be diminished. This will be due to clogged pores. To clear this, simply prime tbe Black Berkeys™ with clean cool or room temperature water and use the priming button.

This kit is specifically designed to work only with the Berkey™ Light water system. If you have a Stainless Steel Berkey™ system, you need the Stainless Steel Replacement Kit.
